Banana Bread Latte

Ingredients

  • 2 shots of espresso
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 banana- mashed
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup water
  • ¼ tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • Pinch of salt

Directions

1. In a small saucepan, over low heat,  add banana, sugar, water, cinnamon, vanilla, and salt

2. Simmer for about 5 minutes, or until desired thickness, being careful not to burn the sugar

3. Either strain out the banana chunks or jar the syrup as is

4. In a cup filled with ice, add the milk, espresso, and desired amount of banana syrup

5. Enjoy!
