Ingredients
- 1 shallot- diced
- 5 cloves garlic- minced
- 1lb ground beef or sausage
- 32oz box of chicken broth
- 24oz jar of pasta sauce
- 3 tbsp tomato paste
- 2 tsp dried basil
- 1.5 tsp oregano
- ½ tsp thyme
- ½ tsp rosemary
- 1.5 tsp garlic powder
- 1.5 tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp red pepper flakes
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup heavy cream or milk
- 2 cups Mafalda pasta
- 1 cup mozzarella- shredded
- ¼ cup parmesan- shredded
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley- chopped
Directions
1. In a large pot add shallot, garlic, meat, and all seasonings
2. Mince and brown the meat
3. Add tomato paste, pasta sauce, chicken broth, and 1-2 cups of water to thin
4. Bring to a boil
5. Add pasta and simmer for 10 minutes, or until the pasta is al dente
6. Mix in heavy cream, cheeses, parsley, and salt and pepper to taste
7. Ladle into a bowl and enjoy
